If you have been following my blog for a while now, you will know that we were offered the amazing opportunity to visit Denmark this year.  We spend an amazing two weeks in Denmark (27 July – 10 August) with great friends of ours, who spoiled us more than we ever have asked for.  This was my first overseas trip and what an experience it was!  It had outdone every single expectation I’ve had and if the travel bug had not bitten me before this trip, it sure has bitten me now!  :) (more…)

I am the operations manager for a very fast growing travel company in Cape Town, South Africa, called TravelGround. We are an online booking service where people can book accommodation anywhere in South Africa.  Because we provide a service, we have realised that excellent Customer Service Strategy is what makes you stand out among your competitors.  This specific topic is something that is very close to my heart, especially because good customer service is not a very familiar sight in South Africa.   This post will mainly be on why it is important to provide good customer service and how to put this Customer Service Strategy together. Celebrities, like the Parlotones, are starting up organisations to raise funds for this specific cause – it’s in our face every where you go!

Firstly I would like to apologise for not updating the blog with posts as often as I use to these last couple of months. The last few months of last year has been really hectic. I work within the tourism industry and therefore September – December is our busiest time of the year, so it’s been quite a challenge keeping everything up, so please accept my sincere apologies.

If you are into hiking and love South Africa as much as I do, than you will enjoy this post!! Not only is South Africa one of the most beautiful countries in the world, but the scenery it presents and the coastlines are some of the best the world has to offer!!

I don’t hike that often, but do love it when I get the chance and if I could, I would love to do all of these trails someday!!
